Meet Caleb Marie Cruz, owner of The Cruz'n Vet Tech, LLC - a new mobile veterinary technician business serving  the Coachella Valley!

•  I have always had a passion for animals, and knew from a young age that I wanted to work in the field of veterinary medicine. After over 15 years of hard work and dedication, I am thrilled to have turned my dream into a reality.  I’ve worked with companion animals as soon as I was legally permitted, starting as  a veterinary assistant for many years. As fulfilling as that work was, I knew ! wanted something more. 

• I then completed my formal education while working full-time in the veterinary field, where I earned my license to be a Registered Veterinary Technician by obtaining over 4,000 hours of experience in the field, and passed the VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam). Completing the necessary work to be a technician allowed mehands-on experience through assisting and supporting  various veterinarians in the Coachella Valley. This privilege  expanded my knowledge and skills in the field, and prepared  me for the challenges of being a veterinary technician. I worked at two well-respected animal hospitals for the next 6 years, where I honed my skills and gained valuable experience in all aspects of veterinary care. This experience, coupled with my passion for animals, inspired me to open my own business and provide high-quality and compassionate care to pets in my community.

• As a registered veterinary technician, I am dedicated to providing the best possible care for all animals, big or small. I am trained in various areas such as animal handling, nursing care, laboratory procedures, and radiology, just to name a few. I also stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education courses and seminars. My goal is to offer basic veterinary needs at your home, avoiding  the excitement and anxiety of traveling;  taking our fur babies inside a big scary building for simple treatments like nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. are unnecessary!  Our pets are already in a warm and comfortable environment with their owners, which is why I strive to treat each animal in their own homes with the same love and care as if they were my own. I am committed to building trusting relationships with my clients and providing them with the highest level of care.
